The purpose of the Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Foundation is to provide the residents of the Morongo Basin with educational opportunities and financial support, which will benefit each individual as well as our communities.  Our grants will be made available to those teachers and students in Yucca Valley schools.  We will award grants to teachers for innovative programs and special projects for their class or a group of classes.  Middle school recipients will receive a $100 U.S. Savings Bond.  High school students, whether in public, private, parochial, or a home school environment, are eligible for scholarships of up to $1,000.  Graduating seniors will be eligible for scholarships to attend a community or four-year college, or a licensed occupational, technical or vocational training institute.  We believe it is important not to limit our grants to only those attending college, but to all who wish to further their education.  Grants will also be made available to those students that attended Yucca Valley schools but did not graduate and wish to obtain their General Education Degree.  It is our goal to gather support from the community as well as outside sources to benefit these students.  We hope you will join us in these efforts.
