This is a great opportunity to see places like the Getty Museum, Catalina Island, Sea World with other folks from Yucca Valley. Re-Enactments of Gunfights in Pioneertown

Come join the Pioneertown Posse on Saturdays and the Gunfighters for Hire on Sundays at 2:30 p.m. on Mane Street in Historic Pioneertown every weekend from April through October.

Step back in time and watch the mail being delivered on horseback. This reenactment of the historical mail delivery ends in picturesque Pioneertown. The riders from the Morongo Basin Horsemen’s Association carry the mail provided by the community and deliver it into the hands of the Pioneertown Postmaster.

Everyone loves a parade! Residents of Yucca Valley and the Morongo Basin are no exception, as on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend people line the streets to watch their friends and neighbors march down Highway 62 during the annual Grubstake Days Parade.

Following the parade come join the Basinwide Foundation, Hi-Desert Star, Z107.7 Radio and Town of Yucca Valley for some old-fashioned family fun at the Grubstake Days Community Fair. Non-Profit organizations from throughout the Morongo Basin set up booths with games, food, music, and fun for the entire family.
