Free Kids Gourd Art Class: below is a sample of the kids project.

 

Beginners Gourd Class Saturday and Sunday, September 18 & 19

 

 

 

 

You will learn:

1. To use dyes.

2. Learn to color resist.

3. You will learn to use leather, beads and feathers on your gourd.

 

You will go home with a beautiful gourd you can be proud of.

 

The class is $35.00, all materials will be provided.

Saturday Advanced Class, September 18, 2010

 

 

 You will learn:

1. To transfer your design onto the gourd.

2. How to do the basket weave.

3. How to inlay a stone.

4. How to wood burn the wolf.

5. Learn how to use dyes and acrylic paint.

 

You will need to bring:

A wood burner.

A dremel with barrel sanders

A ball bit

 

The class is $50.00 with everything else provided.

Sunday Advanced Class, September 19, 2010 

 

 

 You will learn:

1. To transfer your design onto the gourd.

2. How to use gourd master dyes and acrylic paint.

3. How to carve using your dremel.

4. How to wood burn your design.

5. How to finish your gourd with pine needles.

 

You will need to bring:

A wood burner.

A dremel with ball bit.

Everything else will be provided.

 

The class is $50.00 with everything else provided.
