December 14th was the date for the Yucca Valley Chamber's "Puttin on the Ritz" Shopping Spree

The Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce Marketing Committee encouraged local residents to shop locally with a "Puttin on the Ritz" Shopping Spree. There were twelve businesses signed up to participate: Big O Tires, California Welc...ome Center, Color Bar, Goin Postal, Ikon Beauty Center, Joshua Springs Thrift Store, Mackenzie's, Route 62 Vintage Market Place, Sears, Star Struck Dance Studio, Tamma's Magic Mercantile, and Tamura at Home.

They provided refreshments for the customers. Every twenty minutes or so, chauffeured transportation arrived at the store to take customers to the next destination.
