Rancho Mesa

A few minutes north of Yucca Valley, Rancho Mesa features rural horse property but is close to town and a wide array of shopping venues and restaurants.  

Yucca Mesa

Yucca Mesa is a sprawling area on the north-central side of Yucca Valley, with views to die for. The “Mesa” is a mixed area of full-sized homes and cabins.  

Sky Harbor is a beautiful area in the south side of Yucca Valley with great views of surrounding hills and mountains.  

Western Hills Ranchos

Western Hills Ranchos is one of the newer subdivisions in the southeast part of Yucca Valley.

Gateway

In the west end of Yucca Valley are older established neighborhoods. Alta Loma, Storey Park and Juniper Terrace feature great homes with mature landscaping.  

Country Club Area

Located in the west end of Yucca Valley, this area has beautiful executive homes overlooking the town. This area provides a close commute to the lower desert. 

Western Hills Estates

In the north central portion of Yucca Valley, you will find Western Hills Estates. This area has panoramic views overlooking the valley.

Paradise Valley is located in the eastern part of Yucca Valley.  New home construction is healthy and active in this area.  

Property Tax

Proposition 13 that passed in 1978 sets property tax in California. The property tax rate is one percent plus any bonded indebtedness approved by the voters. The average is 1.25 percent in Yucca Valley. Taxes are based on 100% full fair market value as of the date of purchase or completion of construction. Taxes may increase a maximum of two percent per year after being set.
